You’ll participate in various social events, such as weekly Intern lunches and fun events outside of the office, where you'll get to know all your fellow Interns. You’ll also get a chance to bond with your team through several team events and activities. Want to join us?
To join us as an Intern, you have to be enrolled in a study program. We welcome all educational backgrounds, as long as they relate to your desired internship.
Otherwise, here's what we're looking for:
- Availability for a 4–5-month internship.
- Ability to dedicate approximately 30-37 hours per week, balancing your academic responsibilities.
- A genuine eagerness to learn and make a positive impact on our shared journey towards a brighter future.

How do you apply?
- See our internships which are open for applications from 1st of February and 1st of August. As soon as our candidates have been found we’ll close for applications.
- All you have to do is find an internship that aligns with your interests and write a motivated cover letter that gives us a feeling of who you are, what you’re passionate about and why you are the ideal candidate.
- A great way to stand out is by drawing on some of the exciting projects from your educational journey to emphasize your areas of interest.
- Once that’s done, attach your resume and academic transcript and hit send.

Can I apply for more than one internship?
- Yes, you can apply for more than one internship. We recommend focusing on positions that are similar in field to ensure that the role is aligned with your academic and professional interests.
What language should I write my cover letter in?
- If you're uncertain about which language to use for your application, it's advisable to match it with the language used in the job description. Otherwise, the job description always specifies the language requirements, which can offer you some guidance on the appropriate languages for your application.
What should I include in my application?
- In your application, focus on your field of interest and how it aligns with the position you’re applying for. We understand that you may not have much experience, so highlight your semester projects in your resume to showcase what you have worked on and where your interests lie. In your motivational letter, emphasize who you are as a person and why you want to work for Kamstrup. Additionally, include your transcripts to help us understand what courses you have taken and how they relate to the internship. If you have any previous experience, draw on it to emphasize why you are the ideal candidate for the job.
How does the recruitment process work for Intern positions?
- The recruitment process starts when you apply for one of our positions. Once you have sent in your application, the hiring manager will be assessing the alignment between your interests, skills, and the job requirements. If we see a potential fit, we’ll invite you for an interview. This is a chance for us to delve deeper into your profile and for you to gain a better understanding of Kamstrup, the role and our internship program. If we agree that there is a mutual fit, you’ll be extended a job offer.
What if I do not have previous experience?
- That is not a problem at all. The purpose of our internship program is to provide you with real and hands-on experience and prepare you to take on your dream job once you graduate. Therefore, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds and evaluate candidates based on their overall potential and interests. If you do not have any previous experience, highlight the school projects you have worked on to show us how your field of interest aligns with the position. This will help us understand who you are and how you would fit within the team.
When can I expect to hear from you?
- Within six weeks. We strive to respond to all our applicants before six weeks but sometimes it may take longer due to the high number of applicants.
My educational background is not mentioned in the job description, can I still apply?
- Absolutely. We accept applications from all educational backgrounds, regardless of what is mentioned in the job descriptions, as these are just examples. Make sure to tell us about your education and how it has equipped you with relevant skills and experiences that make you a strong candidate for the position. A good idea would be to highlight any transferable skills and unique perspectives that you can bring to the role.
Can I get feedback on my application
- Unfortunately, we receive many applications and cannot guarantee feedback to all applicants. However, you are always welcome to call the hiring manager at the number provided in the job ad. If you are called in for an interview, you will always receive feedback.
