Reporting commitments

To ensure transparency of our ESG performance and to support international acknowledged frameworks and standards, we have committed to below listed frameworks:

Science Based Targets initiative

The SBTi has in 2024 approved Kamstrup’s near and long-term science-based emissions reduction targets. The targets have been validated and approved being in line with climate science and the Paris Agreement 1.5 °C scenario.

To reduce and prevent the most critical impact of climate change and preserve a livable planet. Kamstrup supports the direction set in the Paris Agreement and the IPCC recommendations to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.
We perform GHG mapping of our emission impact in scope 1,2 and 3, and continuously through mitigating activities, drive the progress towards the targets set.
We are committed to continue leading the way for responsible and efficient energy- and water- management by developing solutions and services that give insights and enable change towards our common targets.

The Kamstrup approved climate targets are:
  • Kamstrup commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year.
  • Kamstrup commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year.
  • Kamstrup commits to reduce absolute Scope 1,2 and scope 3 emissions 90% by 2050 from a 2023 base year.
