Title: People & Culture Specialist
Education: Masters in Educational Science
Being an intern in Kamstrup:
I started as an intern in our P&C department, where I gained experience in a wide range of tasks that have shaped me into the specialist I aim to be.
During my internship at Kamstrup, I was entrusted with managing our internship program. My daily responsibilities included supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process—writing job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new interns. I also organized intern events and courses, providing opportunities for networking and professional development. Additionally, I coordinated and participated in career fairs, allowing me to connect with students and align their interests with opportunities at Kamstrup.
What drives me
For me, it’s all about people. Without a doubt, people are at the core of everything I do. They are what make the work meaningful, and I believe this comes with a responsibility to always do your best. I’m passionate about enabling my colleagues, whether it's supporting their career growth or improving the ways we collaborate. Helping others succeed is what motivates me.
The best thing about my job
The best part of my job is working with our young talent program. I collaborate with teams across the organization to identify the right internship positions and support the recruitment process to match students with the perfect opportunities. However, what I enjoy most is seeing the interns grow during their time with us, watching them develop and become a natural part of their teams.
My biggest learning
My biggest learning has been the importance of adaptability and continuous growth. Working with different people, departments, and challenges has taught me that no two situations are the same. Being open to learning from others, embracing change, has not only helped me grow but also made me better at supporting others.
My career path
The first five months at Kamstrup were as an intern, where I had the opportunity to develop my competencies and take full responsibility for my own projects. This led to an offer from my manager to continue working as a P&C Specialist, allowing me to further build my skills through courses, certifications, and exciting new tasks. I am incredibly grateful that my manager took a leap of faith in me and recognized my potential. Her support has kick-started my career and given me a place where I truly feel I belong.
Fun fact:
When I was little, I fell and hit my head on a telephone pole, which left me with a permanent dent in my forehead. Luckily, it didn’t make me any less smart!
