What’s your name and your role / what do you work with?
My name is Jes, and I’m working as Head of Process & Analysis within Advanced Manufacturing in Supply Chain.
What drives you?
Always striving to be better at what I do and what we do.
Find motivation in tackling and overcoming challenges. Each obstacle presents a new learning opportunity and a chance to prove our resilience, capability and ability to work as one unit.
Seeing opportunities and turning them into value for myself, my team, Kamstrup and in the end, the Customer.
What is the best thing about my job?
How cringe it may sound, the best thing about my job is, I get to see my team as a whole and the individuals in it succeed on a daily basis.
Being able to set a common vision and execute on the plan to achieve it, provides us with the opportunity to constantly inspire, lead and deliver on changes to overcome challenges.
Why did you become a leader?
Moving from dedicated specialist to a project manager helped me improve my “soft abilities” and emphasized the importance of solving challenges as a team or cross-functional.
I became a leader because I wanted to contribute with a positive impact on my team and the organization. I thrive on challenges and was ready to step out into deeper water out of my comfort zone.
Can you describe your career path so far?
I started as an intern in Lean with primary focus in the Heat/Cooling factory. I then transitioned into SCM Logistics as a Logistics Specialist and took the project role as team-lead in the ERP project for the functional track “Logistics & Procurement”.
I Continued as a hybrid specialist/project manager for Logistics-related projects
In December 2023 I accepted the position as Head of Process & Analysis.
What is the first thing you do in the morning?
My daughter wakes me up: I go to take her up from her bed.
My alarm wakes me up: I hit the shower.
