Three tips for the best resume

We acknowledge that writing a resume can be challenging, but with the right approach, you can make a strong impression. Here are our three best tips for writing the best resume:

  • Tailor Your Resume: Review the job description and highlight keywords, skills, and experiences that are essential for the position. Ensure it is in chronological order, with your most recent experiences listed first.
  • Showcase Achievements: Whenever possible, include achievements or projects to demonstrate the impact you made in previous roles. If you have limited experience, focus on the relevant aspects of your studies and how they relate to the position.
  • Express Your Motivation and Personality: Since we do not require a separate motivational letter, your resume should also reflect who you are. We are looking for not just a skilled professional, but also a great colleague who fits well within our team.

2. Screening your application

After you submit your application, our hiring manager personally reviews it. We delve into your qualifications and experiences and carefully consider your personality traits to see if there is a potential company fit because, at our heart, we're a team of people looking for people.

We value effective communication and strive to keep all candidates informed throughout the recruitment process, even if you are not selected. We aim to provide responses within six weeks. 

3. Interviews & Assessment 

At Kamstrup, we understand that every recruitment process is unique, tailored to the specific role you’re applying for. If you’re invited for a first interview, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager, an HR representative, and potential colleagues. This is your chance to learn more about Kamstrup, the team, and the position, but it’s also our chance to get to know you and understand your motivation for applying.

We believe it’s crucial for you to find the right workplace for your growth, and we want to ensure that Kamstrup can help you reach your potential. Depending on the role, you may go through a first interview followed by a personality test and either a case or assessment interview.

4. Welcome To The Team

If both parties see a match and we extend an offer, you will hear from us as soon as possible. You will receive detailed information about your first day, including what to expect and who will greet you. On your first day, you will be provided with an onboarding plan to ensure you have the best possible start with us.
