Metering technology company Kamstrup, a global leader in intelligent metering solutions, is pleased to announce a reasonable result in 2024 despite continued market challenges. 2024 Annual Results

2024 was a challenging yet pivotal year for Kamstrup. Despite the global economic slowdown and the ongoing effects of the 2022 component crisis, Kamstrup achieved a revenue of DKK 3.0 billion, representing a 17% decrease compared to the previous year. However, the company ended the year with a profit before tax of DKK 247 million, thanks to strong adaptability and improved order situation in the second half of the year.

To gear the company for the future and increase growth, Kamstrup implemented a strategic shift in its corporate strategy mid-year. This included a series of adjustments that have equipped the company to better navigate a volatile business environment across the global market. The strategic change led to an updated organizational structure with increased end-to-end responsibility in three strong business units and a global sales organization. These changes are fundamental to preparing Kamstrup for future growth and achieving ambitious goals for the future.

Despite a year filled with market challenges, which is also reflected in the results, Kamstrup continues to invest heavily in innovative solutions throughout 2024 and into 2025. A brand-new American headquarters in the state of Georgia with production and R&D Center, opened at the beginning of the year, is a clear example of Kamstrup’s significant investment in the future.
