A My Kamstrup account lets you log into any Kamstrup software your company is licensed for, as long as your superuser has granted you access. You can use the same account across Kamstrup's entire software suite.

The email I used to create a My Kamstrup account is not accessible anymore?
If your email for My Kamstrup is no longer in use, please contact your My Kamstrup superuser. He/she will be able to add you, update your email and provide the correct permissions. If your superuser is unavailable, email us at mykamstrup@kamstrup.com.
The My Kamstrup account has been disabled, how do I activate it again?
If your account has been disabled, you'll need to reactivate it. Send an email to mykamstrup@kamstrup.com with the subject "Account Disabled" and include as much information as possible.
I have been locked out of my account after too many login attempts. How do I get access again?
If you have entered the wrong password too many times, your account is automatically locked for 24 hours for security reasons. To regain access before the 24 hours are up, reset your password at https://account.kamstrup.com/forgotPassword/.
I can't remember the email address for the My Kamstrup login, what can I do?
If you've forgotten the email address for your My Kamstrup account, ask your My Kamstrup superuser to look it up. If you're the superuser and can't find the information, please contact us at mykamstrup@kamstrup.com.

How do I get access to an application if I am not the My Kamstrup superuser in my organization?
To access any Kamstrup software application, contact the My Kamstrup superuser in your organization. They can add you to the application and provide the necessary permissions.
This setup ensures that the My Kamstrup superuser has control over your organization’s Kamstrup applications.
How do I know what access level I have?
You can check your access level from your My Kamstrup profile page at [https://service.kamstrup.com/my-profile]. There, you'll see which roles have been assigned to you.
How can I edit my personal details?
You can edit your personal details on your Profile page at https://service.kamstrup.com/my-profile. Here, you can change your name, language, reset your password, and view the roles assigned to your user account.
I do not have access to any meters in the Encryption Key Service (EKS)?
Access to meters in the Encryption Key Service (EKS) is granted by your organization’s My Kamstrup superuser. If you've been granted access but are still experiencing issues, please contact us at mykamstrup@kamstrup.com.
2-step Verification
How does 2-step verification (Multi-Factor Authentication) work?
When 2-step verification is enabled for your organization, all users will need to verify each login with a code sent to either their email or phone.
If your organization has enabled 2-step verification, you can add a phone number to your account. This phone number will be used to receive the verification code during login. Add a phone number to your account [here].
If no phone number is added to your user account, the verification code will be sent to your email address.
I do not have 2-step verification (Multi-Factor Authentication) on my account - how can I get it?
To enable 2-step verification for your organization, please create a request here.
Note that 2-step verification will be implemented for all users in your organization, not just for you.
The verification code is sent to my email address. How can I have it sent to my phone as a text (SMS) message instead?
If you use 2-step verification, you can add a phone number to your account to receive the verification code via text message (SMS) during login.

Is it possible to send the verification code to an alternative email?
No, it is not possible to use an email other than the one you use for login. However, you can choose to receive the verification code either via email or as a text message on your phone.
My email adress has changed. What do I do?
It is not possible to change the email address for your account. You or your superuser will need to create a new account if your email address has changed. You can also add a phone number to receive the verification code for 2-step verification as a text message.

Where do I find the user administration?
Sign in at https://mykamstrup.com/. On the front page, click the "profile" icon in the top right corner to access User Administration.
How do I add a user to my organization?
Sign in at https://mykamstrup.com/. On the front page, click the "profile" icon in the top right corner to access User Administration. Once there, click "Add User," enter the email address, and assign the desired roles.
The user will receive an email with signup instructions to get started with their new My Kamstrup account.
How do I assign other users to READy Manager (hosted), Analytics applications, NEM or EKS?
To add a new user to an application, sign in at https://mykamstrup.com. Go to your User Administration page, click "Add User," enter the email address, and assign the desired roles.

How long does it take for newly assigned roles to take effect?
Newly assigned roles are activated immediately. However, if the user is logged in when the role is assigned or changed, they must log out and log back in for the roles to take effect.
How do I delete a user who is not in my organization anymore?
From your User Administration dashboard, click the X next to the user you want to delete. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
How do I change the email address for myself or another user?
This is not possible. If the email is no longer in use, you can delete the user and add a new one with the updated email address.
As a My Kamstrup superuser, what can I do?
As a My Kamstrup superuser, you can access the User Administration dashboard where you can:
- Add and delete users from your organization
- Assign roles to users in different applications
- Add external users to your organization
- View a history log of user events in My Kamstrup
What is an external user?
An external user is someone outside of your organization who needs access to your data. Once added, the external user receives an email with instructions on how to create a new My Kamstrup account, if they don't already have one.
The external user will also receive a link to confirm their connection to your company. They must accept this invitation to be connected, and the confirmation link expires after 4 hours.
