From 13 – 17 May, Kamstrup hosted an exhibition at IFAT in Munich focusing on digitalisation in the water industry.
– Per Trøjbo, Vice President, Sales, Water
Looking back on our event on Thursday 16 May 2024 from 3.30 pm to 3.50 pm on the Green Stage, we would like to invite you to join us in delving into the world of sustainable water use. Find out how residential water meters can make an important contribution to protecting our precious water resources. We presented the advanced technology of the flowIQ® 2200 water meters, an efficient solution for detecting internal leakages in house connections as well as in house connection and supply pipes. We also discussed secure data transmission with TLS encryption via LoRaWAN in detail, a pioneering project that was realised in cooperation with Gelsenwasser, PHYSEC, and Kamstrup. Many thanks to everyone who visited us – we hope you went home inspired and well-informed!
PHYSEC GmbH and Kamstrup held a total of six seminars for users and decision makers on digitalisation in the water industry as well as data protection and data security solutions, in particular LoRaWAN TLS technology.
In case you missed the live seminars, you can find out more about the ultrasonic water meters with LoRaWAN TLS technology here.

One of the main topics we presented at IFAT was the ultrasonic water meter with LoRaWAN TLS technology. Together with PHYSEC GmbH and GELSENWASSER AG, we have developed an electronic ultrasonic water meter with data transmission that complies with one of the highest security standards through its TLS encryption via LoRaWAN.
