With its built-in remote reading capabilities, the ultrasonic meter enables data collection from a distance without any extra add-on, unlike the mechanical meter. This not only eliminates the need for gaining access to the meter to read the data. Time and resources are then freed for other more value-adding activities in the property management.

The measuring principle within the ultrasonic meter does not involve any moving parts, unlike the mechanical meter. It is therefore not affected by the wear and tear that every meter is naturally exposed to during a life in service. As a result, the ultrasonic meter not only has a lifetime of up to 16 years, which is about twice the lifetime of the mechanical meter. It also requires an absolute minimum of maintenance during this period of time.

The ultrasonic meter can be installed in whichever direction or surrounding is needed. Because opposite the mechanical meter, the functionality is not compromised one bit regardless of how or where it is installed.
