How would you describe your typical day?
My typical day consists of a good mix of many things. First and foremost I have a leadership role where I’m responsible for the people and the daily work in the department. And important part of my job is to motive and take responsibility of the technical and personal growth of the employees in my department. It includes discussing things like development projects, software architecture and quality assurance. I also have a close collaboration with our business units, discussing innovation and value creation for our customers.
What motivates you to work in Kamstrup?
In Kamstrup I have a unique possibility to combine my skills within digitalization, digital transformation and business development with my passion for sustainability. I feel a clear sense of meaning in my daily work. I appreciate the high level of professional skills inside Kamstrup within so many different areas and I enjoy working in a culture with a high level of ambitions.
Can you describe your career path so far?
My career path has been centered around software development, quality assurance, and leadership. I joined Kamstrup as a Test Manager, but soon became Head of Software Development. Over the years I have headed different development departments, but also taken the role as Program Manager and Project Manager. I like a good challenge, but I also appreciate the value of professional long term relationships where we grow together as a team.
What is the best thing about your job?
I just love the dedication and high level of competences characterizing my colleagues inside and outside the department. The high focus on quality, innovation and personal development aligns well with my personal values. It gives me a great pleasure to know that the solutions we are developing helps ensure something so basic as clean water.
What drives you?
I personally live for the days where we make new solutions, features or improvements available for our customers. I feel this is where we create value and help our customers achieve their goals. I also love to see my colleagues grow and challenge themselves learning new competences.
What is your advice for people who are considering applying for a job at Kamstrup?
Be prepared to be challenged on the professional level and make sure you have a collaborative mindset. A job at Kamstrup includes bringing a lot of different competences to the table and figure out how to find good solutions together.

Despite the fact that software developers are known for their high consumption of coffee, I’ve never had a cup of coffee in my life.
