Title: Customer Projects Student Worker in Heat/Cooling

Education: Studying a bachelor’s degree in Global Business Engineering

How would you describe a typical day in your role as a student worker at Kamstrup?

There isn’t really a typical day for me, as my schedule is quite flexible and varies week by week. Usually, I arrive at Kamstrup after my classes, diving into various ongoing projects that require different skills and approaches. Some days, I work from home on project tasks, which allows me to balance my studies with my job effectively. I also participate in remote meetings, collaborating with my team and sharing ideas.

What motivates you to work at Kamstrup?

I find it incredibly inspiring to see fellow Global Business Engineers engaged in diverse projects. Their experiences encourage me to envision my own path, which motivates me significantly. It’s gratifying to see the theories I learn in school applied in a practical, professional context. The hands-on experience I gain here allows me to see the practical application of the theories I learn in school, reinforcing my understanding and igniting my passion for the work we do. It’s fulfilling to be part of a company that values innovation and sustainability, aligning perfectly with my own aspirations.

Can you share a bit about your educational background and career aspirations?

I’m currently specializing in Mechanical Engineering within my Global Business Engineering studies. Before this, I pursued Civil Engineering, but I realized I wanted to focus on the dynamic intersection of business, technology, sustainability, and innovation. This shift has allowed me to align my studies with my passion for creating impactful solutions that address real-world challenges. Looking ahead, I aspire to work in roles that leverage my technical knowledge and business capability to drive positive changes, particularly in sustainable practices.

What do you enjoy the most about your job as a student worker here?

The flexibility in my role is a significant aspect that I value, as it allows me to manage my time effectively between work and studies. Beyond that, I enjoy the variety of tasks I’m assigned, which keeps my work dynamic and engaging. Collaborating with my colleagues is another highlight; their expertise and insights create a supportive environment where I can learn and grow. I appreciate the opportunity to acquire new skills, whether it's through hands-on project work or team discussions, as it contributes to my professional development.

What drives you or inspires you in your studies and work?

My primary motivation is reaching my goals and developing my capabilities. I find inspiration in the challenges I encounter – each one pushes me to grow and learn. I’m particularly driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact, and the real-world applications of my studies at Kamstrup not only reinforce my passion but also remind me of the significance of my work. I have won the Danish championship in Road Racing 5 times.
