What’s your name and what do you work with?
My name is Katrine and I work as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Kamstrup. My primary task is to extract data from various sources and present it through numerous reports using Power BI. These reports provide our stakeholders with business insights into many different topics in a clear layout.

How would you describe your typical day?
My typical day involves a combination of supporting colleagues using our existing reports, maintaining those reports, and collaborating closely with business representatives to develop new reports. Besides that, I conduct training sessions and contribute to the development of our data governance framework.

What is the best thing about your job?
I really enjoy how I get to work with a lot of different people from different departments across Kamstrup as it gives me a comprehensive understanding of our business. Seeing how the different parts of the company collaborate across departments and functions to come up with the best solutions for our customers is truly amazing.

Can you describe your career path so far?
I graduated from university in June 2021 and secured a full-time position at Cryos International, where I had previously worked as a student employee, as a Junior Business Developer. In January 2022, I transitioned to the IT department as a Business Intelligence Analyst, taking on the responsibility for Power BI reporting. And last year, I joined Kamstrup as a Business Intelligence Specialist.

Fun fact
Between high school and university, I worked for two years in Munich at an investment bank, and I still have eight Maßkrüge and a very bank focused German vocabulary from my time there.
