What’s your name and what do you work with?
My name is Brian, and I am the Head of Frontend Innovation at Kamstrup. In my role, I focus on exploring and maturing innovative concepts before they enter dedicated projects. This involves exploring technical opportunities in our metering products and evaluating value propositions for potential partnerships.

How would you describe your typical day?
I manage various projects across different product lines, and to maintain focus, I designate specific days for particular projects. For example, on Mondays, I may concentrate on a technical innovation within the heating industry. I physically locate myself near colleagues who are involved in these topics to facilitate collaboration and progress. On Tuesdays, my focus might shift to projects within the Water business, and so on.

What drives you?
It’s simple: Impact. Our focus is on delivering solutions that provide significant value to our customers and position us ahead of the competition. All Kamstrup solutions contribute positively to the environment by measuring household consumption. We provide our customers with live data that ensures the ability to take immediate action and our analytics capabilities can pinpoint leaks in our piping, contributing to the conservation of our drinking water.

Stay curious. The heightened awareness and a broader readiness for environmental friendliness create numerous opportunities. This can involve transitioning from traditional sales to a more service-oriented model, addressing labor shortages impacting utilities, and more.
