What’s your name and your role?
My name is Katy, and I’m a Cyber Security Senior Specialist. My job is all about helping Kamstrup become more secure by improving processes, managing risks, and facilitating our ability to comply with different cyber security requirements.

What drives you?
At the end of the day, I like to see tasks crossed off my to-do list and know that I've done them properly. That gives me a sense of achievement. What drives me is knowing that the more days I have like that, the better the outcome for the business.

My biggest learning?
Strive for progress not perfection.

Can you describe your career path so far?
I have a peculiar path into cyber security, and it's one that I would not trade. I spent the first part of my career working with Human Resources and Quality before making a transition towards IT. Security became an interest area, and the rest is history. Surround yourself with people and topics that interest you. You will learn, unlearn, and relearn from them constantly - and its so worth it!
