Chairman of the Board, Michael Løve, is pleased to have found a strong profile like Søren Kvorning to lead the next growth journey in Kamstrup.
"Kamstrup has a solid foundation and will also present a great result for 2023. This is a good starting point for the next strategy period for which we have high growth ambitions. I am sure that Søren (Kvorning, ed.), with his strong international experience, is the right person to realize these ambitions, and I am very much looking forward to the collaboration," says Michael Løve, Chairman of the Board and CEO of OK a.m.b.a., the owner of Kamstrup.
"Until Søren starts, Henrik Rom will fulfil the role of CEO and will then resume his role as CFO. Henrik has done this very well together with the management team at Kamstrup since June, which means that Søren is joining a company in good shape and with lots of potential," adds Michael Løve.
– Søren Kvorning, new CEO of Kamstrup
Søren Kvorning looks forward to joining Kamstrup.
"It's a huge opportunity. And even though it means saying goodbye to Enabl sooner than I had planned, Kamstrup is such an exciting company that I couldn't say no," says Søren Kvorning.
"Intelligent energy solutions and utilizing our resources properly are close to my heart, and the potential worldwide is huge for Kamstrup. It motivates me a lot, and I am proud and humbled to be given the task," Søren Kvorning elaborates.
As part of the leadership team at Danfoss Drives, a global electronics manufacturer within the Danfoss Group, Søren Kvorning helped identify opportunities to create a more sound supply chain during the global component and microchip shortage. Therefore, one of his focus points is to create an even more 'resilient supply chain' in Kamstrup.
"It is clear that this is a very important element in realizing Kamstrup's growth ambitions. In addition, it is crucial that we continue to differentiate ourselves with the right technology and product development. We need to do this together. Kamstrup consists of more than 1700 experts, and I look forward to meeting them all," says the future CEO.
