The change follows the development of the future strategy, and according to the Chairman of the Kamstrup Board Michael Løve, the Board has decided to find a new profile to lead Kamstrup through the next strategy period, a period with ambitions of creating considerable growth.
“Through the past five years Kamstrup has delivered good results while being headed by CEO Kim Lehmann. We have seen an impressive development in several markets, especially in the US. In connection with the strategy development, I have had a good dialogue with Kim about his plans for the future, and the expectations that the growth ambitions place on the role of the CEO. Based on this dialogue the Board has decided to find a new CEO”, comments Michael Løve.
There is a strong, global demand for Kamstrup’s smart meter solutions and analytics tools, which is also reflected in the growth and earnings over the past years. Kim Lehmann’s efforts has had a significant impact on the strong positioning of Kamstrup:
“The results speak for themselves, and Kim (Lehmann ed.) has dedicated his efforts, not least during COVID-19, and the following global component shortage crisis to secure the results. The Board would like to thank Kim for his efforts and for securing a strong position with a continued high growth potential”, says Michael Løve.
A search process has been initiated, and CFO Henrik Rom has been named CEO effective immediately. He will, in close cooperation with the rest of the management team, secure a continued strong operation of Kamstrup until a new CEO is in place.
Kamstrup develops, produces, and sells smart energy and water meters, relating reading systems, data analysis tools and services to utilities and other users, and has activities in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Kamstrup’s solutions have a huge impact in the monitoring and reduction of the consumption of resources across the world.
The turnover in Kamstrup in 2022 was 2.8 bnDKK, and reached an order intake of 3.6 bnDKK.
