Kamstrup's laboratory for calibrating electricity- and heat meters is accredited by DANAK (Denmark) and SWEDAC (Sweden) in accordance with ISO 17025.
Furthermore Kamstrup has an accreditation in accordance with ISO17020.
DANAK and SWEDAC are members of EA (European cooperation for Accreditation) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).
DANAK is the Danish National Accreditation Body - appointed by the Danish Safety Authority under the Ministry of Economics and Business Affairs.
SWEDAC is the national accreditation body in Sweden – a government authority under the Ministry for Foreign Affairs as well as the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications.
Kamstrup performs Initial Verification and calibration of electricity- and heat meters under these accreditations. Furthermore Kamstrup holds approval of the D-module as per the Measuring Instrument Directive (MID) 2004/22/EC that is also valid in several countries outside the EU.
