Kamstrup enters into a climate partnership with NRGi
The climate partnership agreement with NRGi opens up the possibility of effective energy savings for Kamstrup, one of the world-leading manufacturers of energy meters.
The energy consumption of Kamstrup is facing a climate optimisation. This is the result of a new climate partnership agreement between Kamstrup and the Danish energy company NRGi.
- Our products serve as the basis of measuring energy and water consumption in order to achieve an energy-efficient behaviour, and therefore, it is only logical that we also in the production of these products act in an energy-conscious and environmentally correct way. The climate partnership agreement supports this strategy, says the Managing Director of Kamstrup, Per Asmussen.
One result of the climate partnership with NRGi is that NRGi sends energy consultants to Kamstrup to identify possible energy savings. And on the basis of these visits, a detailed report is prepared that points out the savings potential and suggests how and when the savings can be carried out.
Kamstrup already focuses on the environment, and the climate partnership with NRGi is to be regarded as a natural continuation of the great work that Kamstrup already today does within environment protection and reduction of energy consumption.
- Our climate partnership concept always works best when both parts are willing to make an effort. And in this case, I must say that Kamstrup is really willing to make a great effort. An effort that is mutual as we on the part of NRGi work on optimising the energy savings of the company in close cooperation with Kamstrup, says the Commercial Director of NRGi, Morten Winther.
The first savings are expected to be implemented before the end of the year.nergiforbruget i Kamstrup står over for en klimaoptimering. -
